Public schools’ systemic inequity

Reported at johnmenadue.com: A new research paper by Save Our Schools shows that public schools in Australia receive significantly less funding per student compared to Catholic and independent schools while enrolling a much higher percentage of students from low socio-educationally advantaged families.

The study reveals that public schools account for over 90% of schools with a high concentration of low socio-economic students, indicating a systemic inequity in school funding.
