Reported at michaelwest.com.au: New South Wales has introduced tough new laws aimed at combating anti-Semitic violence, including maximum penalties of two years in prison for inciting racial hatred and displaying Nazi symbols near places of worship.
Premier Chris Minns explained that the laws are designed to protect all religious communities and respond to an increase in anti-Semitic incidents, including firebombings and graffiti.
The legislation also includes revised provisions to enhance protections for worshippers and strengthen penalties for related offenses.
